HISTORY

Old Dude Posse is a Motorcycle “Riding Club” consisting of public safety personnel, active and retired, with members in Ada, Canyon, and Payette counties. Old Dude Posse respects other motorcycle clubs in the area and is not concerned with disputes, territorial or otherwise, between any clubs. Old Dude Posse believes in justice and are proud to be Americans.  We support our troops and all Vets. We owe allegiance to our families, the laws of the United States of America, the State of Idaho, and each other.

Old Dude Posse was created in 2006, by two life-long friends, “Fuzzy & Ticker.” They began riding motorcycles together when they were 14. Now, more than 50 years later, they’re still riding together.  Old Dude Posse strives to promote a sense of humor and tolerance in the motorcycle life; and to promote motorcycle riding in a friendly atmosphere. We have no mandatory meetings or rides.

“The Posse” does not recruit new members. The Posse does not utilize the “Prospect Process” like most clubs. Only those serious about riding often will be considered for membership. The backgrounds of people wanting to become “patched,” as well as being serious about riding, are the main considerations! Only serious riders who meet our qualifications will be voted on by a majority the Patch holders.

The Posse is a unisex club; women are welcome to become full patch members, if they ride their own cruiser-style motorcycle, and meet the requirements of the club. Members are free to bring their sweethearts along on any ride, but they cannot be patched members.
