6 hrs in surgery and now moved to recovery. Dr manning just here to talk. He’s going well. Was oozing during surgery. Had transfusion from own blood plus 2 units. Worked on L2-5. Said the nerves were very tight-reason for great pain. Great xray. Did a bit of work just above in next area to prevent more trouble. Bone infused between vertebrae from hip. Will be in a lot of pain but should get up moving mañana and notice the numbness is less already. Probly 2 more hours before going to room from recovery.
