HISTORY

Old Dude Posse is an Idaho Motorcycle Riding Club consisting of public safety personnel — active and retired — with members in Ada and Canyon counties. We are not a 1% biker club. Old Dude Posse is not concerned with disputes, territorial or otherwise, between any such clubs.

We owe allegiance to our families, the laws of the United States of America and the State of Idaho.

Old Dude Posse was created by two, life-long friends. They began riding motorcycles together when they were 14. Now, more than 48 years later, they’re still riding together. The two friends hated the thought of all the rules that most motorcycle clubs put out there, so they decided to start a motorcycle riding club with as few rules as possible. Simple is better. Therefore, Old Dude Posse strives to promote a sense of humor and tolerance in the motorcycle life; and to promote motorcycle riding in a friendly atmosphere.

Old Dude Posse does not recruit new members, however, membership may be achieved by riding with us. Only people who gain entrance to the inner circle will be considered for membership by the Original Five Patch Holders.
